The evaluation has been completed. Compared to the quality of WinForms, MAUI XAML is in a beta stage. Many things do not work at all or only in a very limited way. Better is the quality of MAUI Blazor, because Blazor could mature already some years. But even with MAUI Blazor the MAUI problems come through: For example, the app icons are wrong and cannot be corrected, there is an open dialog but no save dialog, etc. Much can be fixed manually by using platform-specific code. However, this leads to a significant increase in development effort. For the future MAUI Blazor seems to be the best choice!
